- Sarah Graham is a lifelong resident of Baytown and is the current Science Content Specialist at her alma mater, Robert E. Lee High School. Sarah is a graduate of the University of Houston Clear Lake where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She also earned a Masters of Ed in Educational Administration from Lamar University. She worked at the City of Baytown’s Eddie Gray Wetlands Center at the beginning of her career and is still active as a member of their Board of Directors. Sarah has served on various committees throughout her career including Baytown’s CAP (Community Advisory Panel). She has been married to her husband, Leonard for over 20 years and they are proud parents to Tess Graham (Aggie 22’) and Evan Graham (REL 25’). Sarah stays active in the Baytown community by volunteering though her church (Faith Family), donating to United Way of Baytown, and passionately helping grow giants as a local educator. In her spare time, she enjoys the outdoors, college football, and is an avid birder.
Michael Emmanuel has been a Baytown resident since 2006. He resides in District 2 and currently works as the principal broker of Move Texas Realty and owner of Wayficient Homes, a real estate development and brokerage firm. Michael is a graduate of Texas Tech University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in clinical services management and, in his early career, worked as a registered respiratory therapist and was executive director of a nonprofit healthcare facility for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Michael is a 55-year-old native of West Africa. Before moving to Baytown, he lived in Houston, Missouri City and Richmond, Texas. He is married and has four children. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, biking, and spending time with his dog, Blu.
Kenrick Griffith is a 40 year Resident of Baytown (living just 3 years of his early life outside of Baytown). He resided most of his 40 years on Bayway drive between Lakewood and Wooster (in district3). Growing up he spent a lot of time playing baseball at Baytown west league park, and on the Baytown swim team. Kenrick was also a member of boy scout troop 952.
Kenrick Grew up as attending and serving at Church on the Rock in Baytown, Before going on to serve as a minister at True Light family worship center. Currently he worships multiple congregations in and around Baytown.
Kenrick is a Graduate of Robert E. Lee Highschool. He has worked over 10 years in private security as a security guard before working his way up to site Supervisor and then Director of Security for Home depot distribution center. He is currently the Site supervisor for Shell Federal Credit Union in Deer Park.
Over his years living in Baytown Kenrick has donated his talents, time, and efforts with multiple charities and organizations. Ken has served as chaperone for community in schools. He also spent many hours working for Love INC (love network) as a emergency assistance phone operator. However the most enjoyable and rewarding time Kenrick has given, has been coaching youth football for Baytown Optimist club.
For recreation, Ken enjoys spending time and spoiling his nieces Marayah, Jada, Brooklyn, and Ariya. He also enjoys watching sports, as well as both listening and playing music on his guitar.
Charles R. Johnson was elected the District 3 Council Member in December 2016. He was reelected for a second term. His current term expires in November 2022.
Charles started serving in the community as a volunteer coach in 1996 at the Baytown YMCA and has served on numerous committees and boards. Some of the boards Charles served on include the Baytown YMCA, Fred Aguilar Promise Center, Communities In Schools, and the Highlands Sports Association. Charles currently serves on GCCISD Education Foundation Board of Directors and Baytown Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. After graduating from Ross S. Sterling High School in 1995, Charles received Associates Degrees in Child Development and Substance Counseling. He also earned a Bachelor Degree in Organizational Leadership.
While attending Lee College, Charles worked at the Baytown YMCA as a summer camp counselor. While at the Baytown YMCA Charles was promoted to Site Director in the afterschool program and later to the position of Multi-Site Director. Charles worked at BACODA (Bay Area Council on Drugs and Alcohol) as a Prevention/Intervention Specialist and was promoted to Community Coordinator. As Community Coordinator Charles lead an epidemiology group that focused on lowering alcohol and drug abuse in the Bay Area, which included South Houston, Pasadena, LaPorte, Baytown, and Clear Lake. Charles later worked at LyondellBassel and Targa as a Board Operator. Charles is currently working as a realtor with Coldwell Banker. In his spare time Charles enjoys volunteer coaching basketball and spending time with his family.
